Job Responsibilities

This position is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the account by managing internal and external teams to provide a quality service to the client, while delivering maximum profitability for the account.

 

Job Description:

  • Manage and develop internal teams, in line with company best practice to ensure consistent service delivery;
  • Present and review proposals with client at all levels of management;
  • Ensure client’s expectations are effectively managed to that they are achievable;
  • Manage client expectations and on-time delivery of all ranges, via the Sales and Cell Units;
  • Monitor scope of work to ensure all elements (including time and materials) are correctly captured as billable items on projects completed;
  • Keep client updated with industry innovation, and when appropriate, suggest ways to improve systems and processes;
  • Offer input / insight in all key client meetings.
  • Identify areas for improvement within the workflow to bring about maximum efficiency;
  • Acquire a clear understanding of customer business cycle to facilitate accuracy sales and production forecasting;
  • Understand quality control measures and suggest improvements where necessary;
  • Manage direct reports and implement training and development programmes, including bi-annual reviews, etc.;
  • Liaise with sales function in other regions to keep abreast of corporate developments and service improvements;
  • Motivate, coach and foster team building within and between departments to encourage cooperation in achieving goals;
  • Proactively seek to maximise new business opportunities within existing client base by supporting Account Managers;
  • Participate in client strategic planning sessions;
  • Work with Global Account lead to understand changes to process, and work with cell unit to implement across the region;
  • Present business proposals / recommendations to internal and external contracts;
  • Attend global client conferences or marketing events to meet with colleagues and client stakeholders alike, and discuss upcoming initiatives;
  • Any ad hoc task as assigned by superior.
  • Meet revenue target for the calendar year;
  • Maximise profitability by identifying new opportunities with client;
  • Timely submission of reports / forecasts;
  • Client satisfaction rate not less than according to targets.


Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years working experience and not less than 2 years at a Supervisor grade;
  • Having Hands-on experience in design house or packaging industry.
  • Fluent in both written and spoke English;
  • Conversational level for Asian language(s) / European language(s) is an advantage but not essential.
  • Strong presentation abilities;
  • Excellent business / commercial acumen;
  • Able to negotiate, persuade and influence;
  • Leadership capabilities;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills;
  • Strong achievement drive and initiative;
  • Problem solving skills;
  • Adaptable and flexible;
  • Good planning and organization skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office is a must;
  • Hands-on experience on Adobe suite is an advantage but not essential;
  • Experience work in a mix environment between Apple Mac OS and MS Windows platform is an advantage.
